Chapter 2135
Unable to endure the pain any longer, the subordinate screamed, "Ah, sir, I was wrong! Please, spare me "
Colin waited a few more moments before releasing his grip. He stood up and delivered a sharp kick that sent the man flying a meter away. Without uttering a word, he turned and strode out of the room.
When Colin entered the meeting room, he found Georgia seated at the head of the table, calmly sipping her tea.
That had always been his seat when she wasn't around.
Realizing she'd been keeping tabs on him, Colin felt a surge of irritation. Without acknowledging her, he walked past and sat down on the couch next to her.
After a moment, Georgia looked up at him. She didn't argue, her voice calm and composed. "You've been making some bold moves lately. Your men are tired from the constant travel and work; they need rest.
"I recommend we pause operations starting today. Once they've recovered, we can reassess and plan the next steps."
In other words, she was subtly advising him to pull back on Zac and end the current chaos.
Nonetheless, Colin remained unshaken. "Ms. O'Connor, you've always criticized me for lacking progress, and now that I've finally achieved results, you're upset because I'm being too conspicuous. Tell me, are you dissatisfied with the results, or is it just me you're frustrated with?"
He couldn't understand why she always seemed to find fault with him.
"Are you questioning my judgment now?" Georgia's voice grew colder, her eyes narrowing with authority. She emanated an icy, commanding presence, one that made it feel as though she could take his life without hesitation.
Colin quickly adjusted his tone, a flicker of unease crossing his face. "I would never do such a thing. Trinity Alliance is your creation, and you are our guiding force. I haven't forgotten that for a moment." Content belongs to Novelxo.org
"Then stop wasting my time with your petty concerns!" Georgia shot back, her anger evident in her eyes. "If I'm not mistaken, you still haven't personally confirmed Chandler's death, have you?"
"Zac killed him with his own hands. The feud between those two brothers has lasted years there's no question about it," Colin said firmly, standing by his judgment.

"What if Zac was deceived too?" Georgia's words cut through his certainty like a knife. "Have you forgotten all the harm Chandler caused you over the years? Until you've personally destroyed Chandler's body, you have no right to dismiss him as irrelevant!" Content belongs to Novelxo.org
Colin fell silent. He understood that Georgia's words were both a reminder and a warning-unless he personally presented Chandler's ashes to her, she would never fully trust him with Trinity Alliance.

After Georgia's reprimand, Colin couldn't shake the restlessness that gnawed at him. Late that night, he called for "Zac."
"Why can't this wait until morning?" Jenson muttered, still irritated from being woken
up.
"Get ready. We're leaving."
"Where are we going?"
"Miravell."
"I've already captured nearly everyone from Destiny Corporation who could be a threat. What's the point of going there?"
"If Chandler's body hasn't been cremated, it should be shipped back to the country in the next few days. Don't you want to verify for yourself whether he's truly dead?"
