Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities

Chapter 2138

Georgia remained silent.

"Ms. O'Connor, we're at a critical point here please, we need to reach a decision!" the others pressed, their patience wearing thin.

After a long pause, Georgia rose to her feet, her tone unshaken. "We will save him, but for now, everyone must evacuate immediately."

"Why? We trust Mr. Craig-he would never betray the organization!" The others protested in unison, convinced that Georgia was overreacting.

"You're focused on the present, but blind to the bigger picture. We've walked straight into Destiny Corporation's trap. But what if this is only the beginning?

"What if we're already being watched, trapped like prey? It's better to be cautious than to regret later. We need to pull back immediately. Anyone who defies orders will be abandoned."

"Yes, ma'am!"

Her words were final, sealing any further objections. The group began to move toward the door, but before they could leave, a violent force slammed them back into the room.

One by one, they were thrown to the floor, blood pouring from their wounds.

As Georgia lowered her gaze, the masked Chandler and Larry hurriedly led their subordinates into the room.

"Georgia, you're under arrest," Larry declared, holding up an arrest warrant.

Georgia exhaled slowly. "I never thought I'd be one step too slow. Chandler truly deserves to be my most trusted successor."

At her words, Chandler removed his mask, revealing his identity. "Thank you for the compliment."

Georgia's face twisted with shock. "You... infiltrated Trinity Alliance?"

"No matter how much the enemy advances, there is always a superior way to defeat them," Chandler said, his words concise yet inspiring.

A dangerous glint flickered in Georgia's aging eyes, her anger barely contained. In the next instant, she sank back into her high-backed chair, quickly pressing a hidden button.

Seeing her move, Larry quickly lunged forward, yanking her from the chair and slamming her to the ground.

He pressed the muzzle of his gun to the back of her head and warned, "Why are you still defying me when death is right in front of you? Do you really think I won't end it with a single shot?"

Too weak to resist, Georgia lifted her head and met Chandler's gaze, a chilling smile creeping across her lips. "At least your woman and child will be part of the entire Trinity Alliance's downfall. Everything will all

be worth it." Content belongs to

Chandler's lips twisted into a sneer. "What if my woman has always been Helen?"

Georgia's face froze, confusion

washing over her. She seemed to

realize something but quickly shook her head in disbelief. "Impossible She's been dead for seven years. How could she possibly come back to life?" Content belongs to Novelxo.org

"A few days ago, you thought I was dead. And yet here I am, standing before you. The heavens don't make mistakes only those who deserve to die truly perish. Helen and I were always meant to be together and nothing can change that." Content belongs to Novelxo.org S

Inside the castle, Helen was focused on the stone wall, where she had been sketching a rough map of the place from her observations over the past few days.

Suddenly, an ear-piercing alarm shattered the silence. The shrill sound grew louder and more intense, showing no signs of stopping.

"Where are we going?"

"The headquarters has triggered the self-destruct sequence. This entire place will be destroyed in ten minutes. I'm the only one who can get you out in time."

Helen's face tightened with suspicion. She didn't trust Isla―not for a second.

Sensing her hesitation, Isla continued, "At a time like this, I have no reason to lie to you. Your only choice now is to trust me unless you're willing to risk both your life and your child's."

"And what's the price?" Helen asked, knowing there was always a catch.

"I want your man to guarantee my safety outside," Isla said plainly. "I'm done with all

of this. I want a normal life. It's a fair deal one life for two. A good bargain for you."

Helen frowned, uncertainty still clouding her thoughts.

"What's the matter? Do you still doubt me?" Isla asked, laying everything out. "If I wanted to harm you, I would have exposed you the moment you drugged me and

escaped this room."
