them shivered uncontrollably, seeking warmth from each other.
Bella and Justin sat on the sofa, an arm's length away from each other. Once deeply in love, sharing their most intimate
moments, the small gap between them now felt like an insurmountable chasm. It was a quiet, heartbreaking sight.
Justin's face remained expressionless and collected.
Bella stole a glance at him before lowering her gaze, her lips pressing together as her fingers traced where he had touched her
shoulders. It still seemed to carry a trace of his lingering warmth.
"To think you dare mess with my friends? You are really fearless," Ryan sneered from above, flexing his gloved fingers
menacingly.
"Chairman Hoffman... My son acted rashly because he was scared!" Dr. Wagner begged bitterly. "He was only worried about his
father! Please! Have mercy on him. If you need to punish someone, punish me!"
"Oh! We have a devoted son here, do we?" Ryan's lips curled into a sinister smirk. "Such filial piety... Gambling abroad, racking
up over $10 million in debt, squandering your parents' savings, and then hiding like a rat after returning home. What a joke!"
Jerome's face turned pale as he buried himself deeper into his father's embrace, desperate to escape the ridicule.
"$10 million?!" Dr. Wagner's bloodshot eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at his son. "Jerome. Is what Chairman Hoffman
said true? Did you really owe the casino that much?"
Bella's heart clenched.
Ryan's words hit the mark. Jerome had indeed racked up an enormous gambling debt overseas, barely escaping with his limbs
intact. He had mortgaged their family villa just to return to Savrow.
Unfortunately, with property values plummeting, even selling the house would not cover the debt, let alone the interest.
Ryan, who had no direct connection to Dr. Wagner, uncovered such details. It was undoubtedly Justin's doing. Bella's lips curved
faintly. Once again, they were in sync.

Realizing the truth, Dr. Wagner exploded with rage, pummeling his son. But his punches were futile. "You ungrateful brat! Do you
want to kill your mother and me?"
"Justin, how should we handle this?" Ryan's lazy gaze settled on Justin's chiseled face. His smirk turned mischievous. "I'm best
at 'playing' with people."
Justin merely stared at the father and son, his cold silence more oppressive than words. The chilling aura made their skin crawl.
"Mr. Salvador! Please, what do you want?" Dr. Wagner cried out in despair.
Justin's gaze darkened. His cold voice pierced the air. "Who ordered you to testify against me? Was it Grant?"
"I... I.." Dr. Wagner stammered, unable to form coherent words.
While Justin seemed composed, Ryan was not as patient. Raising his leg, he delivered a sharp kick that sent Jerome sprawling
again, eliciting anguished cries.
"Stop! Stop! I'll talk!" Forced to protect his son, Dr. Wagner trembled as he confessed. "It... It was Ms. Amaryllis. She contacted
me and asked for your blood test reports."
At these words, Justin and Bella instinctively exchanged a glance. Their gazes locked, a silent understanding that no one else
could replicate.
"She didn't say if Young Master Grant sent her. She only asked for the reports and said I should testify at a
critical moment." Dr. Wagner wiped the sweat from his face. "At first, I refused... But she exploited my weaknesses. She knew I
needed money-my wife's surgery, my useless son... She offered me benefits, and I agreed."
"Do you think she was the only one who could exploit your weaknesses?" Bella's icy voice carried no trace of sympathy.
"The moment you agreed to her deal, you signed a contract with the devil. She will continue to manipulate and control you, even
forcing you to commit crimes. Drinking poison to quench your thirst will be a downward spiral to hell. Being used as a pawn in the
