Chapter 541 Birthday Banquet
Rosaline’s POV:
I glanced at my phone and saw a location message from Michelle.

I turned to Caden, who was sitting next to me, and reminded him, “Michelle just sent me a message. She invited us to her
birthday party at 8pm tomorrow. This location seems like a villa in the suburbs. I’ve been there with her once before.”
Caden pondered for a moment before he nodded. “I don’t really want to go to the banquet tomorrow. I’m not that familiar with her
either. Why don’t you go by yourself?”
I looked at him, feeling warm inside my heart at his response. It’s obvious that he’s worried that I might feel uncomfortable.
This man had finally started learning to consider my feelings.
Since he had already said so, I didn’t need to act reserved and said, “Alright, then I’ll be back a bit later. I’ll call you when I’m on
my way back.”
At precisely 8pm, I arrived at Michelle’s birthday banquet.
This villa, located in the suburbs, was owned by Duke Gerald Daffron and was already packed with luxury cars. From a distance,
I saw Michelle dressed in an elegant gown, welcoming the well–dressed daughters of high–ranked werewolf packs.
As I approached her, Michelle’s eyes lit up momentarily, but she hesitated when she saw that I came alone
“Is Caden not coming?” she asked.
I shook my head. The smile on her face disappeared, and she looked down in disappointment.
I sighed lightly and walked up to her. Pretending not to notice anything. I handed her the gift bag and asked her, “What’s wrong?
It’s your birthday today, but you don’t look happy. Here, it’s a birthday gift for you.”
Michelle looked up and forced a smile. She received the gift, saying, “Thank you. You always give me the things I like. I’m just a
little tired. That’s all.”

I nodded without saying much. I took a glass of champagne and took a sip.
“Such a beautiful lady.” I looked up and saw a handsome werewolf standing in front of Michelle and me.
I thought he was here for Michelle. As I was about to step aside, he stopped me and introduced himself.
“I’m Joel, the grandson of the current Alpha, Cornelius. May I have the honor of a dance with you?”
“Me?” I pointed at myself, slightly surprised.
If Joel was indeed the grandson of the current Alpha, then that meant he was an actual prince?”
Michelle glanced between me and Joel. She seemed about to say something, but she didn’t.

I nodded, “Alright, but I’m not a great dancer. I hope I won’t embarrass you.”
Joel smiled immediately as I nodded and responded like a gentleman, “It’s okay. Dancing with such a beauty is an honor in
itself.”

He led me to the center of the ballroom, and as the music started, I placed my hand on his shoulder and started to dance
gracefully to the rhythm.”
Joel’s movements were very intimate as he held my waist. He gazed at me with admiration and praised, “I didn’t expect you to
be this beautiful, and you’re such a good dancer. You were being humble earlier.”
“It’s nothing special,” I replied with a polite smile and said nothing else after. I just wanted to finish the dance as quickly as
possible.
What I didn’t expect was that among the guests, there was a journalist from our country that saw me and Joel dancing together.
He captured and wrote a sensational article before posting it online. In no time, it soon became a trendy search.
And I had no idea at all.
Caden’s POV:
I was at home, waiting for Rosaline to come back, when I scrolled through my phone and saw the trending topics of her dancing
with Prince Joel.
I clicked on it and saw the photos from the banquet. My expression darkened instantly, especially when I noticed how close Joel
was to Rosaline, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable..

I put down my phone, feeling more and more frustrated the longer I thought about it. In the end, I grabbed my jacket and went
out.
I needed to see for myself just what exactly this Prince Joel was trying to do!
